RATES and REQUIREMENTS

MY-RENT-A-KITCHEN (MRAK)

MRAK is a 24 Hour, State Certified Commercial Kitchen where start-up companies and caterers alike are able to work in a safe clean environment and use for obtaining the required State Licenses. It also is available for Food Trucks or any other Mobile Operation needing a Base Commissary as required by the State, even if Self-Sufficient. We also can Rent the kitchen for 1-time events or Under Cottage Law (No State License), This is for users who would like to use the kitchen for one-time usage for production efficiency and for ease of cleaning.

REQUIREMENTS For State Licensing
(What each kitchen user needs to put together for their own business)

  • A registered Fictious Name with SunBiz
  • ServSafe Management Certification
  • Liability Insurance-We Recommend Fliprogram.com-Name us as Additional Insured after Signed Lease and we have spoken on your Preferred Hours, if any
  • Signed Lease with My Rent-a-Kitchen-1 Year Coinciding with 1 Year State License
  • Completed State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) or Florida Dept. of Agriculture Licensing Form
  • Inspection
  • City and County Business/Occupational License-Check local community website for the community your business is located in.


MRAK-BASIC RATES: (Starting May 1, 2023)

+ $ 180.00 per month*

+ $ 180.00 One-time Security Deposit
+ $ 50.00 Background Check-1 Person/75.00-2 People on Business Account Partnership-One Time

(Please note: If credit history isn’t perfect or a past offense exists, does not necessarily disqualify the application, information needed is provided to you)

Minimum 1-year contract - coincides with your 1-year State of Florida DP-Ag or DBPR License for the end user.

Basic Fee Includes: 10 Hours/Month of Kitchen Time, secure entry, parking, bathroom, refrigeration stoves oven use, pots and pans, and any kitchen equipment located on premises, along with Refrigeration & Freezer.  User will log user-time into workbook located on countertop and Users will be given a key and code to be able to access Kitchen 24/7. Coordinated on a Google Calendar reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis.

* Billed monthly Baseline: $180.00

10 hours or less: $180.00
11-32 hours: $16.00 per hour

33 to 60 hours: $14.00 per hour
Storage-Available Dry, Refrigerator or Freezer at $25/Shelf/Month

SCHEDULING:
Time is booked by use of shared Google Calendar – Each user will be required to have a Gmail account and coordinate with the calendar to be able to view all events.  Time scheduled is up to each user to book time to the calendar as needed. If time is booked and not used, it will be billed to users’ monthly hours. Only book time you plan to use. Others also need the kitchen.

Note: -Kitchen hours are not Cumulative to next month of all hours for the month are unused.

FOOD TRUCKS & COMMISARY ONLY
(No need of Accessing Kitchen- for License Purposes Only)
$575.00/YEAR - Truck Parking Not Available, unless arrangements made with Property Owner. We can put you in contact with them, if desired
